3) Luxor Museum (2 hrs) - $45 pp This museum of ancient Egyptian art, housed in modern building was opened in 1975. the collection consists primarily of the more recent finds from the Thebes area. the interior of the museum is attractively laid out on two levels, and the many valuable and unique items are excellently displayed, laid out and labeled.	10) - $ pp

5) Dendarah and Abydos (6hrs)- $85 pp A.M departure from hotel (Lunch basket is advised). at 169 kms to the north of Luxor city you will reach the ruins of the temples of ABYDOS, the chief center of the cult of Osiris, God of the after life. Together with one of the oldest necropolises and nearby city of THINIS, Abydos played an important role as the burial place for kings and high court dignitaries. P.M After lunch , back to the south(87 kms) the DENDARAH TEMPLE dedicated to Hathor , Godess of love,fertility and beauty. Dendarah is one of the most ancient and most famous Egyptian cities.	12) - $ pp
6) Edfu & Komombo Temples (5 hrs) - $90 pp Early Morning departure by road to the south of Luxor (107kms) to reach Edfu Temple .One of the Most conserved Egyptian temple. Its construction started 237 BC.and was completed in 52 BC. Komombo Temple at 62 kms. furthur south is built over a hill and overlooking the Nile and dates back to the Ptolemic era. You can either go further south for 45 kms. to end in Aswan or go back to Luxor city.	13) - $ pp
7) Sailing to banana Island (3 hrs) - $15 pp Transfer from your hotel to the nile bank to enjoy a sailing trip on a wind driven felouka. A course of 1:30 hrs, between the islands cultivated fully of banana trees. in summer it is advised to make this trip around 17:30 hrs.
